Religious Education

At Broad Square Primary School as part of a broad and balanced curriculum Christianity and the other principal religions of Britain are studied, following the guidelines of the L.E.A.

The teaching of R.E. is inclusive and contains provision for children of all abilities.  It celebrates human experiences, relationships and responsibilities and encourages a thoughtful response to spiritual moral and religious issues as revealed by major world Faiths.  It explores our cultural heritage of Christianity, the similarities and diversity which contributes to development of young people ready for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of adult life.
